Plymouth-Canton Montessori School is seeking assistant caregivers for our Toddler Program starting in September 2017. Morning and afternoon shifts available (Monday-Friday). The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Montessori toddler or other early childhood program serving children 18 months – 3 years. CDA or early childhood associate degree preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist head teacher in the care and guidance of children’s basic needs
- Help organize and manage the classroom environment and materials
- Work as a team
Requirements:
- Calm, patient demeanor
- Flexibility
- Physically able to lift 40# and manage bending, kneeling, sitting on floor
